Q-PAC is expanding its commercial HVAC fan platform with a new 575-volt option.
The company says the new configuration will bring 575V EC plug fan capability to commercial HVAC applications and will be especially relevant for packaged units and Canadian commercial or industrial projects, where 575-volt power is commonly used. The product is expected to be available in early August.
For commercial HVAC contractors, this is a reminder that equipment selection is becoming more configuration-specific.
Airflow matters. But so do voltage, controls compatibility, installation access, redundancy, building automation integration, and serviceability.
Q-PAC says the fan platform includes controls compatibility, simplified installation, pre-wired motors, plug-terminated harnesses, BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP support, and reduced field-wiring effort.
